It all began 85 years ago when Samuel Clapper left England to make his fortune supplying Bias Binding and waistbands to the garment industry in South Africa.

International Trimmings & Labels is born out of SA BIAS, specialising in the manufacture of tapes, ribbons and woven labels for the South African textile industry.

ITL establishes first offshore operation in the United Kingdom and obtains its first international blue-chip customer accreditation from Marks & Spencer.
